Other Attractions & Activities

There are various National Trust attractions in the area including Lundy Island to which you can get a ferry from Bideford or Ilfracombe, Baggy Point, and Arlington Court with its horse-drawn carriage museum.

You might also like to visit The Big Sheep, with shows and rides including Devon’s largest roller coaster, the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, or spend time exploring the Tarka Trail – one of the country’s longest continuous traffic-free walking and cycling paths. A must in February is Snowdrop Valley which, as its name suggests, is a beautiful, hidden valley full of snowdrops. Exmoor National Park is only 17 miles away, and is an amazing place to have a picnic!
